New Week, Same Energy
Remember I told you guys that I was excited to start boxing classes as my way of staying fit? Well my boxing classes are now temporarily on hold due to lockdowns. I think I jinxed it 😂
I started using the threadmill at home which also gets the work done but I miss boxing 😂! I must stay fit one way or the other!
I will also be uploading a new YouTube video this week!
I thought summer was dead in 2020 because of all that’s been going on but maybe it’s not! I had the best day out in Galena, IL today!
Photo taken by yours truly!

Good Morning to everyone except the people who still think covid-19 is government propaganda.
Because you don’t think you have it or don’t know people who have it doesn’t mean other people can’t get it. Save a life and #wearamask.
I hope everyone had a great long weekend? I know I did! I visited new cities and stuffed my face with food (check out my stories)...
Just got out of self care week. I slept and recouped all of last week and my body is finally back in Chicago time whoop (take that jetlag)
Why am I here today? To talk about Coronavirus. I know it’s scary but the mass hysteria is making it out to be more than what it is. Coronaviruses are a family of viruses which causes respiratory infections but the one we see on the news is 2019-nCov.
It is a mild respiratory infection which just like the common cold most people recover from.
What is my point here? Just like the flu or a cold, you can prevent transmission by washing your hands, following good respiratory hygene and staying home when you are feeling unwell.
So people canceling travel plans, I would not cancel mine I would just practice extra safety eg wipe spaces with clorox, etc. Please stay safe, stay home if you feel sick & pray for the safety of the world...
This morning, I read about Jahmel Leach, 16, who was assaulted and tased while he was in NYPD custody. Then Oluwatoyin Salau, 19, who was killed in Tallahassee, Florida after she was sexually assaulted. It truly breaks my heart constantly seeing us turn to hashtags and it has been a great source of anxiety for me and I’m sure alot of people as well!
There are countless more stories- some told & some untold and we are tired. We will keep speaking out because we matter, we need to be heard and black people need to be protected!
Then some people have the nerve to say “All lives matter”. Of course all lives matter till it comes to black lives. We will keep fighting for BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS!

Happy Friday lovely people!!
Yesterday, I ate a platter of sushi with @titocee2000 and drank a bottle of wine.
With the current state of the world, finding the calm in things that make me happy is very important for self care! Food and anime make me happy so I indulge!
PS: The killers of Breonna Taylor are still at large! Don’t stop talking, sharing, and donating because feeds and stories are returning to normal. Our actions will pave the way for justice!...
Has your city/country opened back up?
I was out this weekend and I noticed in Chicago, everything has basically opened back up. I even got an email from my “you know what” waxing place that they are open so I guess everyone is open open now!
Summertime might not be dead afterall but remember to wear masks and practice social distancing while out and about!
You are beautiful
You are enough
Your struggles don’t define you
You are a force
Celebrate a black woman today and like @theufuoma said, gift her an all expense paid trip to the Maldives in 2021 today! I am accepting gifts so pull up #morphexjamescharles...
The typical racist hates being challenged, they hate seeing changes in favor of minorities and they are hypocrites.
Some of the non-allies looted businesses in the guise of allyship but black people took the blame! The typical racist absolutely hates it when they are called out on this and many other atrocities perpertuated by their beloved America (slavery, exploitation, killings, lootings, the list is endless). We are tired and we are ready for change!
The protests, social media posts, comments, donations and many more are impacting change!
We are experiencing history in the making!
Keep it up!

If you are a blogger, business owner or aspiring to be any of those and not using hashtags to reach a wider audience, you are missing out!
I shared my insights on Instagram stories few weeks ago and alot of you saw my reach from hashtags (8K - 19K+) depending on the post. Reach = Number of people that see your post.
I was asked to show my hashtag strategy and I shared it on my stories few days ago (can be found on my highlights).
For those who missed my stories, here is a summary.
Let me know if you found this helpful ❤️...
Sending love and light to whoever is reading this caption. I know so many things are going on around us with covid-19, racism, oppression and police brutality. It is okay to protect your mental health by muting all social media till you are more comfortable.
It is also okay to talk about it. Some people have said talking does not do anything but I disagree. It is spreading information which is an action in its own.
I hope everyone has a safe weekend ❤️...
I wonder if we will be able to enjoy food festivals like we did few months ago.

America’s true independence day is Juneteenth but I digress 💅🏾
I am not mad at getting Friday off though. I was supposed to be in Jamaica this weekend but covid had other plans.
I plan to spend the long weekend by exploring cities outside of Chicago and enjoying a picnic on a lavender field in Wisconsin.
How are you spending your long weekend?...
Did you find it challenging to create in quarantine? I know I did!
Being creative at home is challenging for me because I am the type that always wants to go outside. I am learning to change that thought process and making use of the resources available to me.
Now with everything opening back up, I am hoping to go outside soon (safely) and do what I love doing best which is creating....
